Adirondack Economic Development Corporation's primary mission has been to build strong communities one small business at a time. To provide access to capital, training and technical assistance to North Country small businesses.

Saranac Lake ArtWorks

ArtWorks mission includes cooperative marking and promotion of our members and their arts-related events, maintaining a comprehensive calendar of events on our website, distributing communications about our members and their events to the media, providing assistance and guidance to developing artists, creating opportunities for our members to display and sell their work, hosting educational programs for the benefit of our community, and more.

Historic Saranac Lake

A not-for-profit architectural preservation organization that captures and presents local history from our center at the Saranac Laboratory Museum.

Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce

Saranac Lake Free Library

Saranac Lake Free Library is here to provide educational and information services traditional of a community library to residents of the greater Saranac Lake region. As an Association Library chartered by the State of New York, we are an incorporated membership organization. The Library is open to all residents and visitors to the region, without qualification or restrictions and cooperates as appropriate with other educational institutions and citizen or service organizations of parallel purpose within our region.

Women's Civic Chamber

Women's Civic Chamber's goals and purpose are: community promotion, civic improvement, youth welfare, civil defense, to create an informed interest in good government, and to aid any program promoting economic stability.

SLAC Saranac Lake Adult/Community Center

The Saranac Lake Adult/Community Center is a multipurpose center which serves as a focal point for the delivery of services to the senior population.  We provide a place in the community where seniors can socialize, receive assistance with problems, or become involved in helping those less fortunate than themselves. The Center operates under the auspices of the Franklin County Office for the Aging and is a non-profit organization. 


Saranac Lake Youth Center

Saranac Lake Youth Center is to provide a healthy, substance free, supervised environment for teenagers offering programs which develop social skills, personal growth and responsibility in a fun and supportive atmosphere.  

ACLC Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation

The mission of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation is to promote the conservation of Common Loons (Gavia immer) in and beyond New York’s Adirondack Park.

Saranac Lake Winter Carnival

The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Committee works to organize a community-driven festival made possible by the efforts of many volunteers and sponsors. 

Kiwanis Club of Saranac Lake

We are a  community service organization serving the youth of Saranac Lake.  The Kiwanis motto in 1990 was – Young Children Priority One – and we continue to be guided by that principle.

The mission of the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is to provide services and representation for its membership and to generate economic development through promotional and marketing strategies. The Chamber provides business-building initiatives that focus on the critical priorities of the Saranac Lake community.

By leveraging the support, talent and resources of its members, the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is the leading organization working to improve the quality of life in the Tri-Lakes area.
