  • The Welcome Center is staffed by our employee, Cassandra Hopkins, who is there to answer your questions and make recommendations for your time in Saranac Lake. Stop by and pay her a visit.
  • Looking across Main St. from the Welcome Center is a view of Lake Flower and our neighbors at the Verizon Wireless store.
  • The Adirondack Carousel is a signature attraction in Saranac Lake. Located at the corner of Depot St. and Bloomingdale Ave. in William Morris Park, it features hand-carved Adirondack animals to ride.
  • Recently opened, The Book Nook, LLC is Saranac Lake's bookstore run by Jessie Fischer offering a wide selection of books along with special events such as book signings and trading card tournaments.
  • There have been several store fronts around Saranac Lake that have been spruced up recently. Pictured here is Nori's, our local health foods store, getting some work done on the front windows.
  • Human Power Planet Earth is our local bike shop in Saranac Lake where you can get a tune up or look to purchase a new bike. Pictured here is shop owner John Dimon working on bike repairs.
  • The Chamber is constantly working towards gaining new membership from our business community. Recently, the Irish company, Crua Outdoors decided to join our team, pictured is Dylan Van Cott.
  • Renovations are being done in Saranac Lake, including on the storefronts of Adirondack Artists Guild and Ampersound on Main St.
  • In the summer, every Wednesday night in Downtown Saranac Lake on the Berkeley Green there is a free concert. This special summer concert series has included Crowfeather, Nine Horses, and Blind Spots.
  • The Green Side of Business Series offers seminars to help businesses and other community members. Pictured here is our Oct. 25th seminar "Is Quickbooks Right for You?" well attended in the Library.
  • Our first seminar in The Green Side of Business series kicked off with "Managing Leave Time" hosted at our 193 River St. location. Pictured is speaker Jaci Kelleher, an attorney in the area.

  • Riverside Park is a great community space, right across the street from our Welcome Center. In September, the annual Farm to Fork Festival was held there with plenty of local dishes to try.
  • The Farm to Fork Festival was well attended this year, taking place over Labor Day Weekend.
  • The Farm to Fork Festival is an event that is family friendly and brings together members of our community as well as visitors.
  • Grab a plate and sit down to enjoy locally sourced dishes to celebrate the region and eating locally at the Farm to Fork Festival.
  • The Farm to Fork Festival was accompanied by the weekly Farmer's Market hosted Saturdays in Saranac Lake from 9am to 2pm.
  • Riverside Park is adjacent to Lake Flower and even offers boat docks for those wishing to take a boat ride to the event.
  • Vendors come from all over the region to sell locally grown produce, artwork, and other handmade products at the Saranac Lake Farmer's Market.

  • The 5:01 Connect Series is a monthly event hosted by different businesses throughout our community. In October, St. Regis Canoe Outfitters offered their shop as a place to connect after hours.
  • St. Regis Canoe Outfitters hosted an event in October where community members could come after work to talk, eat, drink, and listen to owner Dave Cilley speak about his business.
