Empire State Native Pollinator Survey Volunteer Training

  • June 23, 2018
  • 10:00 AM
  • 45 Museum Dr., Tupper Lake, NY

This is a training for people who want to get involved in the Empire State Native Pollinator Survey, coordinated by The New York Natural Heritage Program (NYNHP). This is a great chance to expand your knowledge about native bees, flies, beetles, butterflies, and moths, and spend time outdoors observing them with friends and family.vNYNHP is looking for people to make insect observations and/or do scientific surveys to help. The goal of the Survey is to determine the conservation status of native insect pollinators in nonagricultural habitats. This survey will focus efforts on important at-risk pollinator species that are native to the Northeastern US. By doing surveys and sending in your data, you will help gather much more information on these important organisms. To learn more, visit Please RSVP ahead of event, limited to 20 participants.
