The Surreal Lives of Gerald and Sara Murphy -- This is an informal monthly breakfast gathering that includes a brief presentation on a topic of local history. November's topic is presented by Amy Catania, Executive Director of Historic Saranac Lake. Amy will present about Gerald and Sara Murphy, famous patrons of the arts of the 1920s and 30 who brought their son to Saranac Lake for tuberculosis treatment. The Murphys' famous "surreal galas" are inspiration for Historic Saranac Lake's upcoming Surreal 1920s Gala on January 19, 2019. Breakfast Club is $20 for members of HSL, and $25 for non-members. RSVPs are required.
